RELATED FAQ

Q: How long can I wear a tampon?

A: When using tampons, it's important to choose the lowest absorbency necessary for your menstrual flow. And because the amount of flow varies from day to day, it's likely that you will need to use different absorbencies on different days of your period. Selecting the right absorbency comes with experience, but as a guide, if a tampon absorbs as much as it can and has to be changed before 4 hours, then you may want to try a higher absorbency. On the other hand, if you remove a tampon and after 4-8 hours white fiber is still showing, you should choose a lower absorbency.

Q: How does Tampax help stop leaks?

A: Tampax Cardboard Tampons are designed to expand widthwise to fit your individual form and have a LeakGuard skirt to help stop leaks before they happen.

Q: If I like Tampax, what other products would be right for me?

A: For the ultimate in comfortable, dependable protection during your period, next time try Tampax Pearl, Tampax Pocket Pearl, and Tampax Pearl Active tampons.

Sometimes the originals are better!

I use the original Tampax cardbord applicator tampons. I have found, for me, they work better than any other tampon I have tried, including the Tampax Pearls. I like the Pearls but I have leakage issues when I used them and I never have that problem with the Tampax Flushable Cardboard tampons. Keep up the good work Tampax!

Love these tampons!

These cardboard applicator tampons are the only tampons that I do not leak on. Tampax Pearl leaks before it’s even filled up. I have been using these tampons since I first got my period about 15 years ago! And unfortunately they’re not being sold at my Wal-Mart anymore. I hope these make a comeback because nothing else absorbs and doesn’t leak like these tampons.

Why is it so difficult to find Tampax Cardboard?

The Tampax tampon with the cardboard applicator is one of the most comfortable, reliable, and eco-friendly feminine care products on the market. Why is it so difficult to find these tampons now? Has the Tampax Cardboard line been discontinued?

Tampax is my first choice in tampons.

Tampax is my first choice in tampons. I prefer the cardboard applicator because it is biodegradable, comfortable and easy to use. I have been using Tampax for 30 years, I like and trust this product.

Former Loyal Customer

I have been usingTampax cardboard applicator for 20 years. Suddenly I cannot find them on store shelves and Costco stopped carrying them. I can't stand throwing away that many plastic applicators and loved the biodegradable quality of the cardboard. I'm no longer using your product and will instead stock up on the generic cardboard applicator tampons, CVS and Walgreens make comparable brands.
