Great news: All Tampax tampons sold in the US come with an applicator!
An applicator is a tube designed to help place the tampon inside your body, making insertion easy-especially for beginners!
Non-applicator tampons exist, but they require using your finger to insert the tampon directly.
For many beginners, an applicator tampon can make the process easier because it helps guide the tampon into the right position!
An applicator tampon has a few parts: the applicator, the tampon inside the applicator, the grip, and the pusher.
The applicator is designed to get the tampon inside your body.
The grip is where you hold it.
The pusher places the tampon in your body.
After insertion, the applicator is removed and thrown away.
The applicator helps guide placement and insertion depth, so you don't have to guess where the tampon goes or how far to insert it.
That's why every Tampax tampon is designed with an applicator-to help you feel confident from your very first try!
Wash your hands before insertion...
Open the wrapper!
Hold the applicator at the grip.
Press the pusher all the way in!
Remove the applicator and dispose of it properly!
For most beginners, applicator tampons are easy because they help guide placement and insertion depth!
